HMRC cuts contractor costs by £1m

HMRC has achieved annual savings of £1m by replacing its long-standing contractor model with a service-based approach. The overhaul, which saw the tax office work with tech firm Tecknuovo, resulted in an 18% reduction in operating costs and saw onboarding times reduced by 86%.
